Your Partner in Growth
Advancement Leadership Network was founded by Kimberly Rogers, a seasoned advancement leader and frontline fundraiser with more than 20 years of experience in New York City and Boston building philanthropic programs, cultivating major donors and leading high-performing teams.
She has secured more than $25 million in major, principal, and leadership gifts, including multiple seven-figure gifts in support of Columbia University’s $6 billion campaign and significant philanthropic support for PBS/WNET New York. At Cambridge-Ellis School, an international independent school, she designed an advancement program focused on establishing a culture of philanthropy, strengthening donor engagement, and creating a sustainable fundraising foundation.
Her career has spanned independent schools, higher education and public media, giving her a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing mission-driven organizations. Today, she serves as Director of Development at The Fessenden School, where she provides strategic leadership across major gifts, annual giving, engagement, communications, stewardship and development operations.
Fundraising is a people centered endeavor. Kimberly's background in negotiation and conflict resolution brings an additional lens to the complex relationships among institutional leaders, boards, development teams, and donors. She holds an M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and a B.A. in Psychology from Brown University. Her graduate work focused on organizational champions and conflict mitigation—expertise that informs her approach to working with institutional leaders, boards, development teams and donors.
At Brown, Kimberly was a two-time team captain of the Ivy League Championship field hockey team and an All-American. That experience continues to shape her leadership philosophy: collaborative, accountable, self-aware and relentlessly focused on bringing out the best in a team. A year-round surfer, Kimberly brings balance, perspective, and a steady presence to complex environments.
